Steve Neff is the enterprise chief technology officer at Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries. He is responsible for the oversight, coordination and execution of the firm’s technology functions and chairs the Fidelity Technology chief information officer council. Mr. Neff is also a member of the firm’s executive Operating Committee.
Prior to his current role Mr. Neff was a senior technology consultant with Fidelity from 2010 to 2012, supporting a number of large technology initiatives across the enterprise. From 2005 to 2009, he was the chief information officer for Fidelity’s Asset Management businesses where he was responsible for providing information technology solutions supporting Fidelity Management and Research Company (FMRCo), Pyramis Global Advisors, Strategic Advisers Inc., and Fidelity International Limited.

A global IT leader with 20 years of IT experience, including 15 years with several diverse GE businesses, Jim comes to this role from GE Capital, where he served as CIO since 2014. He was responsible for developing and delivering simple and consistent global business processes digitized through IT.
